How can I fix Renault clio elec window?
The drivers side elec window doesn't rise up properly. The part nearest the bonnet doesn't seem to rise at all whereas the part nearest the boot does. I've been told I need a clip for the edge nearest the boot - what is the clip called and is it easy to install - I'm a total girl when it comes to this sort of thing.... HELP WANTED!!

Probably just needs clipping back in the lifting bar.

I've already looked on Renault forums but thanks anyway. I was told you can get a plastic clip from Renaul for about a pound that clips into the hole in the glass - it might be a runner clip but I'm sure, when the glass nearest the bonnet is low and the back is high the whole glass tilts out and there is a hole in the back part, it does look like something might clip in it but I din't want to sound an idiot if I go to a garage and just ask for a clip for my window. It's always nice to at least pretend you know what you're talking about.
its a common fault on clio windows that the clip gets weak and jumps out of the window channel inside the door. its not easy to fit as the clip has to be riveted onto the window glass with a soft rivet (shud come with clip).you need a small punch and and 2 hammers. place 1 hammer over the back of the rivet when through clip and window and use punch to gently flatten opposite side of rivet (take caution if hit too hard can crack or shatter window). once clip secured to glass push window back into window channel (nearest boot) there will be bit of play but thats normal.
