Rayburn Royal Solid Fuel Cooker

We have recently moved to a house where the Rayburn and one radiator were the sole means of heating and hot water. We have had a gas central heating system installed which provides hot water.
We would like to use the Rayburn for cooking only, does anyone know whether we can safely use it without removing the boiler?
If we need to remove the boiler: how do we go about it and do we need to fill up the space it formerly occupied with firebrick? Is a conversion kit available?
The Rayburn I Inagine is quite old, if it is any help: the serial number is 159370.

You can not really change the design specification on a Rayburn, so you could not adapt it as you would like. But you could remove the radiator it feeds and cut the pipes back to within a meter of the boiler, then install an automatic differential valve to create a bypass so as not to damage the boiler or any ancillary components fitted to the system.
