When can I go countrywide?

When is the chancellor going to let us oap's travel anywhere in the country for free? Well, I know its not actually free, but you know what I mean.

A bill to provide it is supposed to be introduced in the current session of parliament - by the summer.

I suspect that makes the implementation date April 2008 if all goes well

Hi bigsister: Here in Northern Ireland we oap's have been able to travel free, and I mean entirely free, all over NI and now in April we'll get FREE travel all over the island of Ireland!!! Me and me boyfriend will never be home!!!
