is it specifically just dance music? if not then there are a few classic wedding disco songs-
uptown girl, billy joel,
wham,
the oldeis tend to love The Mavericks Dance the night away

Is this the way to Amarillo ....sha la la la la la la la ....u cant stop the oldies on this one...
How about some Tom Jones ...Its not unusual to loved by anyone.... Delilah ...and perhaps something for the kiddies ..yellow submarine....bob the builder.... cookie monster song...
Only you (the platters)
Not sure what you call usual stuff. My ex husband was a dj & when no one was dancing the thing that always got them on their feet was the 'Saturday night fever' songs - worked every time! Here's the cheesy ones:-
Len Boone - Love Won't Be Denied
The Gap Band - Oops Up
Ottoman - Brown Girl/Hands Up
Village People - YMCA
Or if you want something really unusual, try some northern soul... everybody's familiar with NS now cos of the Kentucky Ads. Marlena Shaw, Laura Greene, The O-Jays. All unusual, but danceable
