Only just heard off this via a link on another post in here.

Have had a look at some websites but many seem to be biased towards believers with all kinds of hidden clues and such.

Was this a big thing at the time and was there ever any kind of outcome one way or the other?

I'm intrigued as never heard this conspiracy before.

i remember people claimed that the flowers on the cover of sgt pepper spelt out paul is dead and the fact that he had no shoes on, on the cover of abbey rd, was also a 'sign'

Even better, on the forum I mentioned in my last album, the Paul is Dead spods were able to find clues on albums that predated Paul's supposed death!

Forgot that bit - people thought that because paul had no shoes on, it represented the Italian sign for death - backed up by his eyes being 'closed' on the album shot.

Truth (boring as usual) is that several shots were taken of the band, in some Paul had sandals on, and was not blinking, in the one they used, he tried it with them off - it's that simple!
