I think audiogalaxy have had to come to some agreement with the RIAA over them lettting users download copyrighted mp3s for free. In effect they've been shut down in exactly the same way that napster was. If you go to the link provided there is a full explanation. http://www.audiogalaxy.com/pages/thread.php?&t=212

I was unpleasantly suprised by that too. Try www.winmr.com as a replacement. Audiogalaxy have fallen into the Napster grave.
Audiogalaxy were sued in the same way that Napster were. The deal that they have done is that they will only have available on the site music which they have permission of the copyright holder(s) to have available. In other words, no more pirated Eminem stuff. Napster didn't want to do this, they wanted to store everything they could get their hands on, but charge for access to it and pass a proportion of the profits back to the copyright holder. This was not acceptable to the RAA so Napster ended up closing where, hopefully, Audiogalaxy will survive.
Why don't you try kazaalite instead? It's better than kazaa as it hasn't got all the spyware, and adverts.
