I am going to buy a zone 2-4 travelcard so I can get to work on the trains everyday but does anyone know if I can use it on the buses?

Also I will be travelling part of my Journey by over ground train, now I know you cant use prepay oyster on the overground but can you use a monthly travelcard?

just touch it once on the buses (unlike both in and out on the tube) - next to the driver on a regular bus, or if you get on one of the bendy ones by the back door, there should be a place by the door to touch in.

You can also use it in zone 1 on buses only and on the Croydon tram network
