Punishment really fitting their crime?

Jade Goody has had her home vandalised and has checked into The Priory having a rumoured nervous breakdown. Jo O'Meara has been unable to return home since leaving the CBB House due to death threats. Both appear to now be broken women with successful careers in tatters. Danielle Lloyd is unlikely to fare much better. Do you really think what they did deserves this? Is their punishment fitting their so-called crime? If so, how far do you want this to go? Jo for one is said to be suicidal - will she have to take her life for you to be satisfied? Are you the ones calling for Sharia Law in this country - a life in which people who steal have their hands chopped off, etc? Is how you want things to be?

The only person making "disturbing assumptions" is you craigiep. In other threads you have assumed that the actions of a very small minority reflect the opinions of the entitre Asian community and now you assume I am even thinking about Jo's possible suicide and the benefits of Sharia Law.

With all due respect here...you did make a huge leap from our critical response to the bullying administered by Jo, Jade and Dani to our position on Sharia Law.

There's nothing we've posted which could've led you to ask that...

so you choose not to answer the questions then, CORBYLOON

your fan, sp1814, did by the way
Whoah there craigiep.

'Fan' is a little strong.

It's not like I'd pay or see TCL in concert or have posters of him on my wall like I did with Debbie Harry.
I have said before that I have no idea if death threats have been made. If they have then it is not justified. The comments and actions of Jade and Co were not justified and they are suffering the consequences. They made their careers based upon positive publicity and now they have had bad publicity they are paying the price. I do not want Jo to kill hersel. I am not one of those calling for the introduction of Sharia Law
Question Author
Thank you, CORBYLOON. The only thing that concerns me is where you say they are 'paying the price'. Paying 'a' price, but what a price - surely not a price any fair-minded person could condone.
Would you say the actions of Jade and Co were the actions of right-minded folk?
Question Author
No, I would not
