Have i missed an episode? friday joe is falling through the window now sonya is out of prison! Nothing has been explained,if joe is dead how do the police know for sure that he did kill pauline? Im lost.

No, you haven't missed an episode. EE script writers have started to do this a lot , missing out a few days here and there! I suppose it meant that didn't have to worry about all the extra filming it would take to cover the investigation after Joe's accident, and Sonya's release. Instead we just had Dot commenting that it had been the worst weekend of her life, and a headline on Jim's paper to bring us back up to speed. It's a bit lazy and confusing!

Yeah ive noticed Eastenders does this a lot too...very confusing, i was confused as to weather sonia had even been told theyd realised it was joe that killed pauline!

The headline in the local paper they were reading said something along the lines of "Killer's Death Verdict : Accident." So, the guy who pushed Joe has an interest in proving Sonia's innocence and the only other witness was his wife, Do. On that evidence alone they let Sonia go. Not only that, going by the headline, they held an inquest and delivered a verdict within days of the death. What a load of old tosh!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

i suppose the writers thought that no-one would want to see them prove that joe did it and not sonja as joe already confessed all on fridays episode. it is a bit lazy but they can get on with other lines now.

Thought it was just me and that i had missed an episode too. Would have preferred to see how Martin turned around and believed it was joe now - and Pauline is still a moany bitter old bitch even from beyond the grave

scoobycoo I know Joe was the killer in the headline and if he wasn't pushed, how come he managed to smash through a closed window? Anyway, I'm losing the will to live...
