Firefox passwords

Hi there - Why can i not get Firefox to remember passwords for Hotmail? FF will save passwords for most sites, just not Hotmail. Any ideas / workarounds? Thanks. PM

It's most likely that some time in the past you (or somebody) clicked on the "don't save passwords" option.

To check and clear this select Options, then privacy, the passwordsthe click view saved passwords, finally click the passwords never saved. If you have hotmail listed under there just delete it and it will ask you if you want to save it the next time you visit hotmail.

If you type in your email address then press the tab key to enter your password, does it autocomplete the password for you?

As far as I'm aware, the advice from Mozilla was not to save passwords in Firefox due to a security risk. I haven't heard if they have a solution to this yet. Version 2.0 which is there latest release didn't fix it.

Thanks all for your help - still not working. Edthpcguy - i read about that threat. Apparently Mozilla fixed it.
