drivers for graphics card

My PC screen keeps cutting out (going black) the button to says its on, is still on. Yet my my tower unit runs fine. i have been told this maybe my graphics card and that i can download the drivers from the internet. Is this possible, if so is, it free and does it work?

What type of blank discs do I need?

First check that the monitor isn't faulty - can you use someone elses to try.

Check that the cables from the pc to the monitor are secure.

If you need drivers to update the graphics card then go to the manufacturers website and then go to the support section and you will be able to download the latest drivers for your specific model of card.

they will probably also advise you how to install the new drivers

doesnt sound like drivers to me.if your drivers worked before then they still should.

how do you get your picture back normally ?
