The reason I put 'Johnny Bravo' is that there was a special out with the Scoobies and Johnny Bravo. Velma had a real crush on Johnny but he spurned her throughout the special episode, doing his 'kewl' Elvis-alike act. Then she realised it was just a crush and he realised what he had missed. I think it was supposed to teach kids that it is unrealistic to have crushes on unattainable figures such as film stars etc. I don't think either Fred or Shaggy ever fancied Velma.

Hello paulineward, hope you are well. I have watched Scooby Doo since it started and my daughter now reads the comic, so I can still have a sneaky read. However, I think someone else should confirm the answer 'cos the Johnny Bravo episode was a one-off, and also the characters have changed various times over the years. btw in my defence, I do have more serious interests, too!
