Yes, I broke my wrist playing football 5-6 years ago. It was very painful. I didn't think it was broken even though I was in loads of pain.
I just wrapped up my wrist for a few weeks, but it never seemed to get better. I went to my GP who referred me to the hospital for an x-ray.
Luckily the bone I had broken fused correctly so they don't put my wrist in plaster.
Once you break your wrist it never seems 100%, It took me at least 6 months for the pain to go away completely.
Even now if I have a heavy weight training session my wrist can sometime feel really sore afterwards.

did the same thing 4 weeks ago. Just had the cast taken off , and the wrist is doing fine.take ibuprofen regularly , this seemed to help me with the pain, i was able to carry on working. Only had cast on for just over two weeks as when i first went to casualty they said it was just sprained but when they looked at the x-ray later they found a fracture . Hope it feels better soon!!!!!!!!
