Read the blog.....interesting........

But.....will any criticisms we may have regarding "AB asks" be removed like our (oh ok, mine) previous ones have?

Hi Edwina
Well, shows how much the Ed listens to the users. I've not seen anybody with anything good to say about these pink questions all week but they're getting made a permanent feature anyway!
The weekly poll is fine because it's fairly unobtrusive. If I'm intersted I'll answer,if ( like this week ) I don't give two hoots, I'll ignore it, but that's a bit harder to do when it's bright pink and at the top of the page.
I think it takes away most of the point of the site if the editorial team are telling us what's worth debating - surely that's up to us to decide. The Ed's job is to ensure that Site Rules are followed within that debate.

Don't know why a little pink box grates with me so much but it does.I think I'll follow Naz's example.

Is this a corporate loophole based on last nights uprising?
That's fair enough. At least they won't stay permanently stuck.

I see we are now called ABusers. Probably correct!

Athley, I didn't see an uprising last night.
Thanks for the clarification Panic Button. If it is the case that only ABusers will see the changes, then the majority of us on here won't have to suffer seeing those pink posts.
gen, Naz thought we should all type ' I refuse to answer this corporate/ sponsored question ' or words to that effect,
Apologies if I've misquoted you, Naz, especially when you're not around to defend yourself. x
gen2 ... my example does not apply to this pinky question as it's not really an unpaid survey we're taking part in ... for future pinkies, my example is as follows ...

I will not contribute my thoughts to this corporate / sponsored question.
There was an issue brought up on Body and Soul last night and also here in the AB Suggs section. I think the one on here has mysteriously disappeared but the B&S one was still there last time I looked and had about 60 ish answers.

It was a protest/discussion about the use of the pink box corporate sponsored questions.

:o)
Oh, you are here Naz - hello. Can I join your protest please?
Thanks for clarifying that for me.
More the merrier
I must add .. this wasn't originally my idea.
naz

You are being modest the idea behind the protest (well mine anyway I can't speak for fitdave) was your refusal to answer the corporate sponsored questions.

:o)
Now that wouldn't surprise me gen!
