Final Five Days

I missed last nights Five Days but from what I have read it is not making any sense. Did someone kill her and put her in van within the shot while the lorry was there.? also whos baby was it.? and whendid her dad take an overdose.? I feel like I have mised a lot or is it just me. many thanks Brenda

Leanne was pushed over in an arguement at the flower van by Kyle (the guy arrested for kidnapping the daughter) who was selling smuggled fags from inside the van. She was unconscious, he took her to her Grandads caravan and tied her up. When she came round she panicked about her kids so Kyle went out to look for them. The son got away when the dog bit Kyle but the daughter ended up in the caravan with her mother. The husbands old army buddy was the mastermind behind the fag smuggling and he and Kyle dumped Leannes body in the lake thinking she was dead after she had lost consciousness again. Kyle had befriended the daughter who promised not to say anything.
Leannes dad overdosed because he couldn't get the image of the five week old corpse of his daughters body out of his mind and possibly he thought his wife may suspect he had something to do with the murder.
The baby was her husbands but she hadn't told him about it because she thought he was having an affair with the gym receptionist.

PS the fifth show was set some 40 days after the fourth.

Going back to the first episode though. Who was driving the great big massive lorry that she disappeared behind - when it drove off she wasn't there? Why didn't the driver see anything?

I just found the whole thing totally confusing and thank you for your summary. I will show it to my huband my mum and my dad as they are all confused too!!

Hi weefatboab many thanks for that I will let my friends see it as well. They even saw the last one and was still confused. It was a shame really it could have been good if they had thought about it more before they filmed it, too many loose ends . but as least now I know. Brenda

Oh just one more thing when did her father take the overdose.? was it in the fourth one.?

At least now you know Brenda!!!! I don't remember Brenda in it? It was so confusing. All the diffrent police - why did that policeman keep trying to get the army mate to get the black guy to do bad things. How did he know him?

The overdose wasn't shown,it happened it the time space between the 4th and 5th eps...... It was referred to.It was slightly confusing.You had process these bits of information quickly without seeing them happen.
