can anyone tell me how to fit a cd writer to my pc.I`ve already tried it and it comes up when i go into `my computer` plus it also says it is in working order.But when i try to burn a disc it says there is no burner detected.PLEEZ HELP.

What operating system are you using. If XP then this enables you to send items to the cd writer.

If you haven't got Windows XP then you will need software such as Nero to enable you to put data/music etc to a disc.

It's the software that tells the PC there's a CD writer ... install Nero, like pauln90 says, and it should work fine.
