I need information on being a photographer.

I do pencil drawings, painting, and photography. I was thinking of being a photographer but I don't want to be unhappy and poor. I also heard you didn't really need to get a degree or AA. But I thought I would go to community collage to be safe. I don't have money to fall back on if I don't succeed so I need to be sure. I was wondering also how do get a photographer business, what kind can I advertise for, and where do I advertise? I also know that I don't want to do graphic art or cartoon-ish art and I know I can't live off of selling paintings. How long does it take to make a good amount of money a year after making a business and how much do you usually start out with?

Once your are qualified, try wedding photography. It is easy to get into and pays very good money. Usually between �600 and �1500 per wedding. Advertise on the many websites for wedding services.
