Where the hell is all this snot coming from

I have a cold. Please can someone tell me why when you get a cold you get all blocked up and have to breath through your mouth (Friday)
Now (Sunday) i can breath through my nose but w t f this running nose is doing my head in constantly blowing,running,blowing,sneezing,running,blowing..... aarrrggghhh....

That means you are getting better, the fluid mucus that is now being let loose is the infection - its all coming out now, if the mucus coming from your nose is green then you have had a bad infection, if its clear then that is a good sign that the infection is gone. It wont last long, but I bet your nose is sore with the constant blowing !
