If yours is still going strong then i would continue to us it. When they go off they go dry and flaky. To make sure you get the last of it hold the tube in hot water for a min or two and it should melt any mascara that is stuck inside. xx
You have had the same mascara for 6 months and you still use it EVERY DAY?!
I use mine every day too, and buy a new one about once a month!
Oh - and for the smell thing that is true, some brands last longer than others (interestingly cheaper ones tend to last longer but thats cos they have more chemicals in them..) so DO go by the smell. Just once it smells a bit dodgy - get a new one and an old one and you'll notice the difference.
My friend used to be a make up artist, and she learnt this at college.

I honestly don't think there's a woman in the world that at some point in her life hasn't had the same old mascara for about a year in her bag! However I did have a Touch Eclat that I had for about two years and that did start to smell strange - a bit like washing you had forgotten about that was all damp.
Tinx - I only use the nail eat which strengens my nails, the nail drink you use if yur nails need hrydrated for example, when you have acrylic nails taken off. i would presume you use nail drink one week and then use nail eat the next week or may sawp every other day. maybe email the nailcareclub and ask them or google it?
