I have seen this service advertised from 12 for 30 minutes upwards.
If they are commercially made videos with copyright, no companies will do it.
With the price of dvd recorders dropping by the week, it seems, it will probably be cheaper for you to buy one, connect it to your tv and video recorder, and do it youself.
or buy a converer we got one at christmas 200 pound from argos but well worth it ive done loads of them since and if you dont want t keep it ebay it! you may even find the player on ebay
the latest VHS/DVD player recorders will do what you want, cost about 160 any major shop
Tape is put in one side and can be transmitted to DVD on other.
Am thinking of getting one today, have loads of tapes from kids when young and want granchidren to see them
you just need a dvd recorder and the lead you've already got, 70 cheapest. Why spend 160? You won't need it after you've converted all the tapes. Bin the VCR and the tapes Flog the pre recorded ones on ebay, although not many buyers left! Saved load of space when I did! Hey presto you're free of VHS forever!
Ethel you Muppet, I was saying copy your videos that you really must keep and flog the pre recorded ones. I would never advocate copying videos unless you absolutely have to, not for legal reason but because the quality is totally sh1t. Just copy the sentimental recording of your kids throwing thier dinner over their head! ZebUK I know all that but that's not the issue, you and ethel really need to read what is being written!
Hi there, I have just bought a piece of hardware called GRABEEX+ de luxe. Connects my video player to the computer via USB socket. Record to to hard drive then transfer to DVD. Less than 40.
