half way is about 136 miles,on the A466 near chepstow according to multimap

I can't imagine why anyone going from LIverpool to Plymouth would go via Chepstow.......M6/M5 seems more logical to me! I guess the halfway point would be somewhere between the exit for Stroud and Bristol - probably round about Michael Wood services.

I would say somewhere about halfway between Strensham and Michaelwood services. It's about 290 miles between the 2 via M6/M5
