Moths...Eew

I opened a pack of organic grapes and was picking some out when i see something lurking at the bottom...





A dead moth!!!!

Completely disgusting anyone found any moths in their unopened grapes? Or a toe in their pack of cheese and onion?

Hi MissR, Not that bad but i once found a piece of metal in a nan bread and i have also found blue plastic in something, cant remember what it was now though. Never have i found a dead creature/insect of any sort, thank god, i would never eat the product again if i did! Saying that, i dont think a moth in grapes would bother me too much, im talking more a dead mouse or a slug or something!! Just give them a wash and they'll be fine . :-)

Oh but missyr it might have just been stunned and hitching a ride - where were the grapes from, if it was somewhere exotic u could sell it on ebay

found a live wormy thing in a packet of walnuts very very yukky!

A friend of mine found a screw in her cereal.. kicked up a real fuss with the manufacturer... sent letters etc... got a refund plus 10 boxes as way of an apology... then realised the screw had come from her spoon handle lol!

Has anyone seen that wonderful film Death in Brunswick where Sam Neill makes a pizza with crunchy dead cockroaches in it & watches the guy eat it!!

I found a dead spider in a packet of drawing pins :( Least I didn't have to eat them tho
