The song is 'Eleanor' by The Turtles - the lyric is actually "Eleanor, gee I think you're swell ...".

The Turtles were a very underrated band, quite Kinks-like in some ways (Ray Davies actually produced one of their LPs). Their greatest hits CD is well worth checking out.

Try to download the version of "Elenor" by "Me first & the gimme gimmes". It's a far superior version of a great song
