Iv just downloaded MSN messenger 6. But, in XP, there is a different messenger. as i prefer the MSN one, how do i stop the XP from signing in everytime i log on?

If you download the new service pack, this problem will stop occurring. Visit Windows Update.

yes there are 2 messengers.. but they are both different! You will need to remove the windows messenger and just keep with the MSN one http://www.pchell.com/support/removemessenger.shtml

go to options and look for log on automatically when log onto windows change the tick box
