does anyone no what time shops can start servin alcohol havin a few friends round later and need to get stashed up

from my distant past i seem to recall it was 11am. That may well have changed by now

Pretty sure whenever the shop is open, 24hr licensing now and all that.

the vagrants always seem to have a tin of tennants Super by 8am anyway ........

Tescos 24 hour sell it 24 hour as far as i know, my son and his friends went one night at 4am and bought lager. Not sure about Sundays thoughj

Depends what country you're in! In Scotland it's 8 o'clock most days, 12.30 Sunday's or whenever the shops open.

I often see guys from the local hostel with their 'blue bag breakfasts' around 9.00am - usually Tennants Super or similar.

our 24 tesco shuts on a saturday night!! and whenever I've gone in a shop round here in morning they tell me I cant buy alcohol till 11.00am. Dont get me wrong I dont ask that early that often :-)

I work in a Londis and we can't sell alcohol before 8:00am Mon-Sat and not before 10:00am on a Sunday.

I didnt think tesco sold drink after 10 pm..even the 24 hour stores.

Yes we open at 5:00am and get all the drunks trying to buy cider...they have to wait until 8:00am.

when i used to work in a shop a short while ago and it was a 24 hour opening one, they could only sell it between 8am and 11 pm
