I understand the purpose of the Jihad holy war. What I don't understand is if the holy war is for cleansing the world of infidels (non-belivers) Why is it O.K. for Muslims to kill other Muslims. Are they also infidels (non-belivers?

That which does not support an ideology that is not based on nor derived from an accurate observation and assessment of reality is simply ignored with equal abandon. The way one chooses to regard reality determines how it is viewed. The sad part of this reality is the children who are victimised by a blindness they have not had the opportunity to relinquish.

I feel that jihad has been misinterpreted. As far as I can make out jihad is the constant internal battle for one's own soul.

i dont think you have the right meaning of jihad,

according to islam the only time you go to war is if the enemy is coming to attack you,
it is only used as a self defence,
your only allowed to fight those who are fighting you,
you are not allowed to just go out and kill women and children just because they are non muslims,
islam is a peacefull way of life, that is true islam,
if people could only research the religion and not just listen to the media

it simply comes down to individualism, a christian kills another christian, no one mentions the religion, ask the killer he'll say, the lord wispered to me, (meaning he's nuts), same way, these guys just use islams name, thinkin thy're doing right, but in simple words, all nutters

OK I know what your saying, BUT in todays world a christain killing another is isolated. Theres thousands carrying out these terrible deeds, and so many teaching and training others for the same purpose. They cannot ALL be just classified as nut cases.

trust me they are brain washed by some individuals to hate non muslims, there is nothing in the religion of islam about killing anyone just like that, our prophet used to do business with non muslims, he taught us to make peace, not war, the only time our prophet went to war was a as a defence

You started off your response by saying, they are brainwashed to hate NON-MUSLIMS. My question has always been the same and still is. Please answer WHY are they killing MUSLIM WOMEN & CHILDREN WHO ARE MUSLIMS. Do they Hate muslim women & children too ???
