The thing im not sure about is the test meal that came with it, the citric acid. At which point do i have to drink this cause i know i have to fast for at least 6 hours first. Do i drink this just before i do the first test or before i fast??? Do i have to watch what i eat afterwards too? I really appreciate your help on this one squsalminney, i didnt find the instructions that great. There is 2 test tubes for each test, is one of those just a spare???
Sorry unruliejuie, we had a power cut last night!
Hope the test went okay (sounds like it did).
I always tell people to follow the cartoon like instructions inside the cover rather than read the instructions as they make it sound so complicated!
As for the second test tube, the manufacturers put it there as a form of insurance just in case the first tube breaks enroute to the lab.
We normally get results within a few days so hopefully your GP will be in touch soon.
