Looking for an 80's club song.

I think the name of the band was something like Poise Noir??? Anyone have a clue to what I am talking about? I don't think I am spelling it right, and I for sure don't remember the name of the song...I think it said something like "I wanna break the chains......" yada yada yada. Please help. This has been tormenting me for years now.

There was indeed a band called Poise Noir, I've found them mentioned on a couple of '80s playlists on internet radio. The most common song is called "Pity for the Self". Other than that though, not a thing.

As a long shot, how about 'Poison' by Alice Cooper. It contains the line, "I wanna break these chains, it's Poison running through these veins, it's Poison..."
