She struggled with alcohol and drug addiction all her life, in the last year I have not seen an interview or heard a recording of her coherant. This was bound to happen and not really shocking at all, her last year was full of pain, her son died, her daughters paternity was constantly quized, she lost her home, she was thrown out of a home in the Bahamas, only last week a court case was launched agains her and her slimming pills company, she was still fighting for the old mans millions. A lot of the media attention was brought on by herself tho, selling her sons last pictures for money, selling the actual video of your baby's birth, selling wedding pictures for a massive sum (2 weeks after the death of her son).
One messed up life, it's so sad.

Yer very sad but lots of people die from overdoses, I never understand why people that are like this become some icon. She was a money grabber Id understand if the husband had left her money in the will coz then its his own fault but he didnt and she continued to go to court for a part of his fortune. I do feel sorry for the kid but it is as an age where it wont remember and hopefully will have a better life anyway. She was young yes but she was on drugs so what do people expect. Live by the sword die by the sword as they say. Her baby wasnt even with her half the time.
got to agree with <4get on this one.
She most certainly wasn't an icon! She was a drugged up mess, brought on by her own actions.
Whilst I do agree that it's sad that a 5month old child has lost it's mother, we have to ask whether in the long run it's for the best, hardly a shining example of a role model was she?

qoute 'She struggled with alcohol and drug addiction'
I hate it when people say this, eg ' famous actor struggled against alcoholism all his life' as if they are some noble being to look up to '
Just put the bottle down mr famous actor, and you are cured!
It doesn't compare with people who genuinely struggle against a serious illness like cancer!

Got to agree with the last few posts on this one. She was a gold-digging drugged-up bimbo with no discernible talent, and I'm glad she never got her hands on her husband's money (although no doubt the whole one year she had to put up with the inconvenience of him still being alive was pretty luxurious). No great loss in herself, BUT there is a five month old baby in this who will grow up never knowing her mother. That may turn out to be for the best, but the poor little girl needs love from somebody, and soon.
