the heat in our ( wifes) tumble dryer goes hot and cold every now and then , i just put it on low heat and it stays cold , can anyone help .thanks lee

some tuble driers use the cold setting as a method of cooling the garmets to prevent creasing

it depends at what point yours is going cold and what the manual says it should be doing

sounds like a faulty thermostat to me,competant person can replace it. MAKE SURE THE PLUG IS PULLED FROM THE WALL SOCKET

are you sure it might not just be somethin a lot more simple than that? our tumble dryer runs cold if the water bottle in it isn't emptied. does your tumble dryer have a heat extractor or has it a bottle usually found at the bottom that contains the water absorbed from the clothes? if it water bottle empty it after each load
