A few years ago there was a spoof documentry on television following the making of a boyband. i think they were called Boyz Unlimited, or Boyz Limited or something. Anyway, it was rather funny and i was wondering if anyone knew anywhere where i could buy this series or even if there is a website for it? Does anyone even remember this programme?

I think I remember it - was it on Channel 4?

yes it was i think! do you know where I could get my hands on a copy of the series? Thank you
"You're the fat one - you can write the tunes!" A brilliant parody, of boy bands, Jo Wylie the narrator, and the guy who plays the hard man in Lock stock and two smoking barrells (also the father in 'Bend it like Beckham') as the Pop 'Svengali' It would be brilliant to see this repeated!

Yes I definitely remember it! A fantastic programme. The youngest band member had got his headmistress pregnant and the manager had to adopt the baby. They had a rival boyband called Boyz Limited who were more successful. I don't know why it wasn't continued, they probably ran out of storyline - there's only so much material for boyband spoof as they're all the same. I remember the record company's application forms - pink for girlbands, blue for boybands. Can't tell you anything of worth though I'm afraid!
Yeah I remember that, it was great, but a total rip-off of the Childrens BBC North and South TV boyband spoof (complete with pre-S club *real* band). It was channel 4 so you might be able to find out info from their website?
yeah i remember that show, they used to sing a song called "say a little prayer all the time".
i know this question was a long time ago, and if you are still interested i have found it repeated on 4OD on cable/NTL/Virgin media interactive service
