I have noticed lately that a lot of candle makers are advertising that their wicks are lead free.
Is there a lot of lead in old candles, and does it pose any real risk, or is this just another marketing thing?
TIA

Hi, miss blondie. I thinks it's sort of the thing to come nowadays, don't you. No lead in pencils, unleaded petrol, no lead in candles, and where's Lead Zeppilin?
Anyway, which wicks are supposedly lead-free? Those of the candles, or those of the candle-makers!
pmsl...........good one lol
