buy a bride??

watching sky news yesterday and i saw an item about an old guy from wales ,70 years old.
he was off to china to marry a lovely 42 year old woman.
who spoke no english but said shed just do as he told her.
now some of these brides to be were in their twenties and very fit.
would you do this?
is it right or wrong in your opinion?
and is it possible to find women in the uk who will just do as you tell them?
and that are fit too?

I think i agreee with legend, why not go out with a bang!!! If you've got the money and dont have an issue about the morals of it then i say, good luck to em! What if she turns up and looks more like Ting Tong though???

There are three blokes around here that have been and bought their brides from thailand and the philippines. The one lad has small learning difficulties so his parents bought him his bride for his birthday!! She does not speak a word of English and recently had to go back home to have a baby as the lads dad had got her pregnant! She left the baby behind with her family and now they are all back to living in the same house again.

I suppose it's each to their own but surely there should be some universal law against this sort of thing?

Legend I would have thought that the problem with that last thread was that a baby had been born and will be brought up without its mother!

I know someone who married a Phillapino (sp)? lady. He looks like a dirty old man and smells like one. The wife is much younger and is always smiling. Each to their own. But I do think that these men are unable to have an equal relationship with a woman and that is why they go to asia as they are more submissive.
