Hi ABers,

Thinking of renting a car when i go to Vegas next week (22 feb -1 mar).

Now I was looking at the Dollar UK website and, compared to the US site, its expensive! Are there any issues in booking through the US website?

Also, insurance. How does that work? Does it come under my fully comp or do i take out extra? Only used rentals for business use so company sorted it all!!

The US website will not include insurance or sales tax in its rates and your UK policy is worth zilch in the US. So you will need to take Dollar's insurance as an extra on the hire rate. There are likely to be other extras as well.

The UK website - probably - is all inclusive.

Also look at booking through Holiday Autos or Auto Europe here in the UK - they usually have very good inclusive rates.
