my phobia is rats, and dont know why. what is your phobia ? why do we develop them ?

I have a fear of dogs

Mines people whistling, I go all hot and panicky and if I'm trapped on a bus with a whistler I have to get off and walk. I've left full trolleys in supermarkets too.
If anyone can explain / put a name to it I'd be fascinated.My husband despairs of me, last night we'd just ordered our drinks in a pub when the barman started whistling so he said " Yes, I know, I'll sup up quick "

nic, I have a terrible vomit phobia too - mine and anyone elses! I've dumped two boyfriends in the past for daring to throw up! I see it as a real weakness in people. I've used gents toilets before now when I've found out that someone has been sick in the ladies! I know of several other people in the same position. It results in palpitations, dizziness and real feelngs of fear. It's just not natural that something you put in your mouth should come back out again!!!!
