You should not even believe a coin marked AD46, as the AD system was developed in the middle of the 5th Century, by a monk called Dionysius Exiguus.
Sorry, that should be the 6th Century.
Was it - by any chance - found next to the screwed-up betting slip saying "Goliath to win - �5"?
