In Chester you can only shoot a Welsh person with a bow
and arrow inside the city walls and after midnight. However,
in Hereford you may not shoot a Welsh person on Sunday with
a longbow in the Cathedral Close. This can't be true can it?

The cathedral close one doesnt sound good, does it? If only because one was never allowed to shed blood on church land? Could be true though. I mean the Oaths act, which was only partially repealed, means that you can be imprisoned for life for swearing an oath or making a promise that doesnt mention god and the monarch. With rules like that around anything is possible.
