The official answer is..... no-one knows (unless you're Clarkson, Hamster, Captain Slow or you work for Top Gear). Black Stig was a racing driver called Perry McCarthy.

Lots of rumours on this one, I once read it was Jenson Button. Again, just a rumour.

Judge nutmeg is right about the original stig.

There's a rumour the new stig is Ben Collins.

I can't see any current F1 driver being the stig, they wouldn't have the time and the bbc wouldn't have the money!
