my best friend has just got engaged and is having an engagement oarty and would love to get her a fab present for her and her partner, any ideas anyone? it needs to be suitable for him and her, i would like something personilised aswell

Have you got a load of photos of both of them you could make a special album or book with with space for a special engagement photo?

Maybe from baby photo's upwards you could get copies of though this could be more suited to a wedding gift.

You could have personal comments in the book from yourself and other friends and family.

Ooh or pay for a professional photo of them both to be done to commemorate their engagemet and you could ask for a message to be put underneath from you.

I did a photo album for my friend and her hubby. From the front to middle i did her life and the back page to the middle i did his life. In the middle they met with a photo of both of them. it took me FOREVER to do it but they absolutely cried like babies. Both of their parents helped me.

It depends on how well you know her. my friend & i were mates for 18 yrs before this so i knew everything.

If not, something like a joint day out together for them is nice. Something personal
