Designer discount

Hi. I've forever hearing about 'designer sample sales' and 'designer clearout sales' but they're always in America, especially the sample sales. I was lucky enough to find a Kurt Geiger / Carvella sample and old stock shop in Guildford but this is as close as I can get.

Does anyone know of any within the UK??

I have a major thing for shoes and bags, so any Jimmy Choo / Marc Jacobs / Chloe / Manolo Blahnik / Karen Millen.....

There is a Jimmy Choo shop at Bicester Village Outlet Mall which was having 70% off when I was there today. There is also a Dior, Tods, Ferragamo, Versace, and Boss there which should keep you amused....

Bicester Village is great as Auntiebertie says, it is the "poshest" of the outlet villages but Ashford and Swindon are worth visiting as well if you live down sarf.

I think they are both McArthur Glen outlets

Bicester village has a fabulous Ralph Lauren store, and also a newly refurbished Mulberry store. They carry last seasons must-have bags.

Where is the old stock shop in Guildford please Emmagleb?

I go there from time to time so would love to visit!!

I only go there once in a blue moon as my boyfriend lives near there, so I'm a bit vague! From Debenhams, you go uphill a bit and over the road, then inside the shopping centre itself near Starbucks/Costa on the corner? From memory, its just in there before you get to the circle bit with the escalators in the middle. Might even be opposite Next (the side windows, not the entrance). Its a very plain front though, easily missed.

..and there is also GunWharf Quay in Portsmouth - it has a Whistles and TWO LK Bennett outlets - [so I am happy]. This is is a lovely waterfront location with tons of places to eat.

Thanks emmagleb and with you about Gunwharf auntiebertie - shops much bigger than in Bicester although with a different mix of shops but it has a lovely Hobbs!!!!

I know about Gunwharf Quays..... I live in Potrsmouth! I go to the Karen Millen there quite often, but was after some variety to my shopping! I suppose there's Whitely Village near Southampton too, but I've not been there......
