Is it just me, or did anyone else think last night Top Gear was vile. Looking at dead animals was nasty, but then Clarkson with a dead cow - it really turned my stomach and I switched it off.

Shame - its one of my favourite programmes. What do you think about it?

Those parts were slightly sickening, but other than that last nights episode was fantastic, especially when they were in alabama.
The part you are talking about was only a small proportion of the hour show, and the rest of the show was brilliant and one of the best.

Thought it was fantastic - would love to get paid for having a road trip with three mates in three cars from Miami to New Orleans.

The bits with the dead animals were minimal - Clarkson is right about deep south americans - you cant have a laugh and a joke with them - no sense of irony - they have to get there brother who is also there mother to come along in pick-up trucks and get all medieval on their ass !!!

I thought it was a classic show the scene with Clarkson driving along while being showered was fantastic.

Dont get me wrong - the rest of the programme was as brilliant and clever as usual but maybe I am just a blonde wimp!!

Thank god the delicious Richard didnt end up with the alligators!!
I though it was surreal when the cow arrived, superb show as always. Hard to imagine the USA most powerful country on planet (frightening) but as always with Top Gear JC can be so preceptive and very serious when required (New Orleans), I know the show has it's detractors but it is soooo entertaining.
Does anyone remember the caravaning fiasco in the last series? I have not laughed (and cried) so much in ages.
Long may it continue.
such a shame you switched off and missed them being run out of town for having 'Im bi' and 'country and westerm is rubbish' written across the cars.
I was in stitches from start to finish last night, it was at least as funny as the caravanning episode. JC driving with his shower pouring water over his face was brilliant!!
it was class
I don't really watch this show normally, but since there was not much else to watch, I indulged.
Yes it was a good enjoyable programme, and gave us an insight of our American cousins, and I wasn't at all impressed.
What I did find a little hard to comprehend was the fact that those 3 vehicles managed to cover all those miles, with at the worst a failing battery on one of them. Judging by their condition I do not think they could have travelled to the bottom of my street, without breaking down.
Best shower seen since Jenny Agutter in 'An American Werewolf In London'!
Funniest thing I have ever seen on TV!!

You can't watch Top Gear if you are easily offended...it's fronted by Clarkson who spends every waking hour being rude and offensive - that's why I love him!!!

We had to pause it when it showed him having a shower because we were laughing so hard!

Roll on the DVD of their challanges!!
I don't normally like TG but the US road trip was superb. I haven't laughed so much at a TV programme in ages. Top Gear is to motoring what Bugs Bunny is to zoology. Top Gear is all about three blokes having fun in cars. If you want a serious motoring programme, I'm afraid you'll have to look elsewhere.
no its not you it is awfull. Cant think how its actually called a car show?
