honda nsr 125

after looking at the frame for a bit now see i need to remove the bearing races from the frame. have tryed to tap them out with no progress so far, any ideas on how to remove them? i know you can get a tool from honda but costs about �50.

Don't tap them..... HAMMER them !!! use a flat sturdy tool like a 8" socket extension bar... they will come eventually. work round the bearing seat from the opposite end ie for the top one hammer out from underneath and vice versa for the bottom one, hammer from above.. they will come out. the depth of the seat is little more than 10mm and once you start them moving they will easily fall out.
