What pet should i get ? me and my husband have been married now for 4and 1/2 years now and feel as though we need a new addition to the family. We both work all day (so i know a dog is out of the question). However my husband does not like cats so any ideas for a nice pet ( No Snakes or stuff like that)

They are far more active and vocal than a nocturnal hamster, are very handlable and are less messy and low maintanence than some other pets. With time, they can even learn to come when called (the rustling of a plastic bag with veggies in will do), and they can be kept inside or outside pretty much all year round. Stocked up with plenty of food and water they can also be left alone for a couple of days, although any more than that and piggy may need someone to check in on them.

A bearded dragon is an amazing pet. they are low maintence, feed and water them daily, clean the cage every couple days to get rid of all uneaten food, and they actually like to cuddle. their main food is crickets, but they can be veggitarians. they are trainable, and can be very funny to watch. they hide when they get tired, can run very fast, but you can make a leash, and jump pretty well. they have sharp claws, but they can be cut, and if you get a female and a male, once they are old enough, the male will dance for the female. i "dragon-sat" one for a friend once, my stupid dog wouldn't leave her side unless forced to. she had even the people afraid of lizards holding her. they're fun!!!!!
