Oil Stain on coffee table

I recently spilled some pot perie oil on my coffee table and itwas there for some time.
Does anyone know how to get rid of the stain? I have tried warm water and vinegar but there is still a stain. The table is a light wooden one, possbly beech or walnut.

try methylated spirits or a degreaser,but do it where it cant be seen just in case it ruins the finish,also have a look at a diy store they may have something for the job good luck
