I have loaded fifa 07 to my laptop but the game play is very very fast its not the game settings as ive turned them to slow is there anything i need to do to pc to slow the game down any help most grateful

You mean it runs to quick i.e the players are hard to control as it runs to fast
or the play time is to fast i.e 3 mins rather than 90mins

mate people pay stupid amounts of money to get speed like that!!!
no seriously i think you are mistaking skipping frames for fast. like a strobe light you see them in one place then all of a sudden they are somewhere else. that is not fast its the opposite your laptop is too slow.
what i would do if i were you is go into the display options and set everything to its lowest setting.
