Welcome to Title Builder Beta.

This small piece of kit is designed to make building your Quiz, Crossword or Puzzle question more effective. It should make finding your question easier for others and, the easier it is to find, the more likely someone is to answer it!

To build an easy to find question title simply select the paper and quiz, enter the quiz number if relevant and fill in the Publication Date. Once you’re happy click “Build Title” and the information should populate the Title field. Fill in the final required details of your question as you normally would, and click submit.

As this is a Beta we only have a limited number of papers and quizzes listed. If you think your favourite Quiz, Crossword or Puzzle should be listed here don’t hesitate to contact us.

Remember: You do not have to use the title builder - simply enter the title and question as you normally would and click submit!

I am always amazed when responses like the one you got come up.

I think the clue is in the title,ANSWERbank! This site is not called HIntbank or ClueBank! People are not obliged to join!

I for one enjoy the Sat Tel Cryptic Crossword but it normally takes me a whole day to complete - I still use Answerbank but just don't click on to the relevant postings until I'm stuck.

Maybe a refugee from more 'serious' sites where there is often a convention (universally observed) that the answers to prize crosswords, etc, are NEVER posted until after the closing date.

Alibobs (above) has hit the nail on the head! He or she does not click on to relevant postings until "stuck". I, too, adopt the same strategy.
Teach No One (straight from Spys R'Us ?) and several other respondents have therefore missed the point of complaint.
Dottie B - My request to you was not to trawl for answers to the Macmillan Charity Quiz YET repeat YET - I did not ask you nor tell you to not use the Answer Bank at all.!
In this Book Titles Quiz, 5 of the first 8 clues (from a total of 100) were renumbered and posted on AnswerBank without any mention of Macmillan, and this happened within days of the appearance of the Quiz, which does not close for entries until 29th MAY. What was one to infer - not the action of someone who is stuck ?
Finally, we who wish to enter have ALL paid our pounds for this worthy Cancer Charity.
