I am really stuck on this question, I have asked before but I can't come up with anything that I feel is the correct answer. with just a few days to go I thought I wiould try again. THe question is "what is Flag"? I have tried google there are a lot of answers but mostly to do with flags of countries or markers and I don't feel this is correct. Does anyone have any ideas please?

I have found these but because it doesn't have an A to start the question I do not think it is an thing or an object.
I did wonder about flag (to wilt) but I am not sure The quiz is to raise funds for a local football team.

Still thinking about this , could it be an acronym ? Haven't heard of it used in computing .
