baxiback boiler
4 Answers
We have been in our home for 17 yrs and the baxi boiler was already installed so its getting on. However we have it serviced yearly and it gives us no trouble, cheap (in my opinion) heating. We are having extensive alterations and people are asking me why I'm not replacing the heating system for a combi. The heating system is a one way system (much to the annoyance of my plumber) and I'm begining to wonder if I should fix something thats not curently broken I have been told that it will be manditory to replace the boiler to a combi / condensor soon if this is the case can I replace the boiler and still have the one pipe system

It is not manditory at all or will not be to have to change you're boiler. Like you say if it is not broken then dont fix it .
Everyone goes on about combi,'s but a sytem is far better Just ask any gasman who has recently taken the C&G 1169 part L goverment tests. The only requirement is to replace old faulty or upgrades with condensing boilers in the UK. That can be a combi,a system or atraditional boiler they areb all made to condense now. I would deffo stick with you're Baxi if i where you untill it has died on you and then i would replace it with a condensing Baxi.
