halogen light fitting
4 Answers
I have a halogen light fitting which has 3 bulbs suspended on a wire track in my en-suite. Two of the bulbs needed replacing (they were 20w) and I replaced them with 50w. The unit worked for about half an hour and then all three bulbs went out. There was no bang or anything nor did my trip switch go off. The switch on the wall also operates a light fitting in a unit and this is still working. I thought that i had put too high a wattage in so replaced them again with 20w. the unit is still not working. i unscrewed the fitting to see if anything was burnt out or a loose wire but all looked fine..Have I completely busted the light fitting???? I am having to shower in the dark so any advice would be appreciated!
