Powerpoint Slide Show

I have received a Powerpoint Slide Show as an attachment to an email, but when I clicked to open it, a dialogue box popped up saying that some controls on this presentation can't be activivated. They might not be registered on this computer. Can anyone tell me what this means and is there anything I can do to activate the controls? Thanks.

Do you have powerpoint installed in your PC

If not then you need this to open and read it
